Richard Megson

Position: Managing Director
Email: rmegson@completeasap.co.uk

I have been involved in the property industry for over 20 years, initially in Scotland and then in my homeland of Yorkshire. As a Company Director, I have worked in searches, conveyancing, property investment and estate agency which, combined, have given me a unique insight into the sector and the stages in the process of selling and buying houses.

I launched ASAP with Tony because I am passionate about delivering a better experience for home movers; selling and buying houses is the biggest transaction most people will ever commit to and they should receive excellent service every step of the way with the minimum of stress.   I am always on the lookout for ways to sharpen up our service, improve our efficiencies and develop our offer.

Building our talented ASAP team and our brilliant network of solicitors and Estate Agents gives me huge satisfaction.  The only thing that could possibly come close is seeing Leeds United back into the Premier League.

Tony Hill

Position: Commercial Director
Email: thill@completeasap.co.uk

I was a conveyancer for 13 years dealing with all types of residential transactions. My role included business development and I built close relationships with both Estate Agents and IFAs. It was this that really shaped my understanding of the customer journey and since then I have devoted my time to improving this for everyone involved.

When Richard and I launched ASAP in 2014, my role was to set up the operational side of the business. I love problem-solving whether dealing with specific issues on a sale or looking at ways to improve the overall service to our clients. I now work closely with our suppliers and am always looking for opportunities to evolve the ASAP service.

My last role before joining ASAP in 2017 was working within Mortgages at First Direct.

There are many things I love about my job, however, the most important thing to me is who I work alongside; I have so many great relationships, not just with my ASAP colleagues but with the clients, agents and the solicitors too.

I have come from an Estate Agency background, where I have worked for corporate and independent agents over the last 15 years in a range of roles.

I have a strong passion for customer services and like to build good, friendly and professional relationships with clients, solicitors and colleagues.

Overall, I have enjoyed sales progression the most as this enables me to provide a positive and hopefully hassle-free experience.  House buying is one of the most stressful times in peoples lives so I find it rewarding being able to support them through the process, manage expectations and make sure all problems are resolved as quickly as possible.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends and visiting family at the coast.  I enjoy cooking and baking also eating out trying new restaurants.  I also enjoy holidays abroad, anywhere hot where I can relax with a good book.

I have two children and a chihuahua called Buddy.

Sales Progression Support

Karen Blanchard

Position: Senior Sales Progression Support

I accidentally stumbled into estate agency 20 years ago, after having children. I was looking for office work that I could do to fit in around my husband’s job and came across a Weekend Receptionist role at a large independent estate agents in Wakefield. I didn’t know much about the sector then, but I do now.

By nature, I am a good facilitator so being a Sales Progressor is the ideal job for me. Whatever someone’s reason for moving, it is great to know I can help in some way and I still get a buzz when a sale completes.

After a busy day, I like to relax with yoga and meditation. I’m always trying to learn and improve myself and I’m teaching myself Greek, which isn’t easy but it’s a work in progress.
