ASAP supports Crisis with ‘Front Door Friday’ campaign

We have selected Crisis as our charity this year as part of our ‘Front Door Friday’ campaign, helping those in need in challenging times.

Our Front Door Friday campaign invites everyone involved in a sale or purchase to make a small donation to support those in need. The whole team were asked for their suggestions for a charity and the resounding response was to support the homeless – a natural fit for a business that knows how important a home is to people – emotionally as well as for safety and stability. As such, we are supporting Crisis, a charity dedicated to combating homelessness and poor housing conditions, to ensure that everyone has a safe place to call home.

Richard Megson, our MD, comments: “As a company that helps thousands of home movers complete their sale, it makes sense for us to try to support those who do not have that basic necessity of a guaranteed roof over their head. Whether you’re an estate agent, solicitor, mortgage broker buyer or seller, making a donation on the completion of a purchase could make a real difference.”

We previously supported The Samaritans, raising over £29,000 for the charity over three years, and our aim is to raise £10,000 for Crisis this year. For further information or to make a donation, please visit: https://completeasap.co.uk/front-door-friday-campaign

In addition to Front Door Friday, team ASAP is participating in the Women in Estate Agency Lake Distict Ultra challenge, with five team members undertaking the 1st Quarter Challenge on 7th June. Jamie Taylor, Amelia Wright, Liberty Sykes, Natasha Delaney and Sibh Megson will be walking 29km to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, in memory of WiEA committee member, Sarah Edmundson.
